About Organization
Morningstar was in the clothing & fashion business for 25 years; creating colour, design and fabric for our market right here in Toronto. 46 Years ago was the time Morningstar first went to India to do business As the fashion business moved to other countries, we stayed right in India and moved onto furniture.
Since then, we have changed, created and upgraded many aspects of our furniture production. The products have changed with the Toronto (Canadian) market. The direction has always been about making a better product for the consumer, better quality and a better finished, well made piece of furniture.
Morningstar has always sourced our goods from India since the beginning. We first involved ourselves with the textile and clothing industy, who produced beautiful cotton clothing and clothing accessories for our customers to buy and enjoy. True testimonials from clients past have popped into our store to recant tales of the and 80’s.
Their stories always included a piece of clothing they bought from us which became an intregal part of their lives throughout the counter culture and beyond It warmed my heart to hear such stories, and infuenced me to source solid hardwood furniture from the same place as i was buying my clothing and handicrafts. Rajathan is the hub for Indias artisans and wood crafters.
They have such attention to craftmasnship and detail, and the woods they use have such unique grain and heavy density, making the perfect combination for amazing solid hardwood furniture. Our suppliers mainly work with Mango Wood and Indian Rosewood. With the increasing demand for this furniture, the factories have increased in size for faster productivity, and their ability to produce large scale pieces.
Job Description
Business analysts work with organisations to help them improve their processes and systems. They conduct research and analysis in order to come up with solutions to business problems and help to introduce these systems to businesses and their clients.
Business analysts look at how a company operates – conducting research and analysing data to develop their knowledge – and suggest methods for the company to improve their practices and processes. This is usually done with the aim of helping the company to make more money, solve existing business problems and/or better achieve their goals.
The work of a business analyst is very closely related to the IT sector, and in some companies business analysts may be considered a technical job role and sit within an IT department.
Nowadays, business analysts’ solutions for their clients will usually involve the implementation of new, or improved, computer systems, and the analyst’s role may extend to familiarising the wider business with the benefits of this new technology and instructing colleagues on how it is to be used.
Analysts can either work ‘in-house’ for a company, where they will solely work on projects for their employer, or be employed by an analyst or consulting firm and will usually travel to a client’s office and be based there for the duration of a project.
