About Organization
An even mix of young passion, entrepreneurial torque and relentless work ethic created an idea. An idea that would soon develop and grow into one of Canada’s most powerful real estate firms. When now Chairman, then Jonathan Wener, started Canderel in Montreal he likely had no idea what it would turn into;
Part of North America’s real estate landscape. He did, however, know that his new company would always strive to create value for clients, enhance communities and be quick on its feet – regardless of the project. He wasn’t far off.
Canderel is a brand of artificial sweetener made mainly from aspartame. Canderel is marketed by The Merisant Company, a global corporation with headquarters in Chicago, Illinois, also Switzerland, Mexico, United Kingdom, and Australia. Canderel was first marketed in France. The name “Canderel” is a combination of candi (or sugar cane) and airelles – the French word for bilberries.
